What's Up with SQLSaturday Tweener Weekend?

Thanks to a lot of work from Joe Healy at Microsoft all of the technical communities in Florida have been given access to meeting space at the Orange County Convention Center during the middle weekend of Microsoft Tech (June 7-8, 2008). We're making the most of it by bringing in some of the best local speakers in the community! The 'tweener' is for the 'in between' weekend! We're actually conducting two separate events, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, you have to register for the events separately.

SQLSaturday #4 (Sat)

On Satuday June 7th we've put together three great tracks; DBA, Business Intelligence, and Data Developer. Each track has four sessions and each session will run a little longer than usual, about 75 minutes. We went back through the SQLSaturday archives and picked some of the most popular speakers & sessions, with the focus on local community talent. Check in starts at 8 am, sessions begin at 9 am, and we'll wrap up about 4 pm. We're hoping to have the standard (or better!) after party, but that's still in progress. The event is being coordinated by Andy Warren, Pam Shaw, and Brian Knight, all leaders of SQL Server user groups in Florida.

There is a fee for parking!

SQLSaturday #4 (Sun)

On Sunday June 8th we're going with a different format. There will be a three hour presentation Sunday morning on SSIS by Brian Knight, and then after lunch Andy Warren will teach DBA 101. Both will be a combination of presentation and class, so bring your laptop so you can follow along!

There is a fee for parking!
