Sponsorship Plan
Welcome!
We appreciate you taking time to consider sponsoring
SQLSaturday #183. Along with event information, we’ve put together a quick
summary of all the benefits available to your company as an official sponsor.
Event Overview
Think of SQLSaturday as a one-day conference.
We bring in lots of volunteer speakers, we have lunch on site, and we have a
dedicated area set up for our attendees to meet with our sponsors. We work hard
to make our event a great experience for everyone, especially our sponsors, without
whom we would not be able to hold this event.
We’re
expecting 125 people to attend! How Much Does It Cost To Be a Sponsor?
Choose from a $500 Bronze package, a $750 Silver package, or a $1,250 all-encompassing Gold package. In
addition, we’re willing to discuss any custom solutions to meet your needs. A Blog sponsorship is
also available for $5.

To
register as a sponsor, please visit www.sqlsaturday.com and fill out our sponsorship registration
form. We’ll email you an invoice, payable by your choice of credit card or
check. All fees must be paid in advance.
The Raffle – Your Key to Success!
The
biggest challenge with community events is capturing contact information for
follow ups. Few attendees will have business cards, and illegible writing often
leads to a 30% or higher information loss!
We
provide each attendee with a set of pre-printed raffle tickets (see below) showing
their name and email address; they then place these tickets into the raffle box
at your table in order to win a prize. This is the most effective
technique for capturing contact information, even including badge scanning,
giving you 100% readability and 0% loss!

Because
we want you to be successful, each sponsorship level requires that you provide
a prize of at least $100 in value, along with full color 8.5 x 11 highlighting
your raffle prize(s).
We’ll
provide the raffle box. A table for all absent vendors will be placed in the
same areas as our onsite vendors. Raffle ticket collection will proceed through
the end of the day. If someone from your team is present we’ll ask them to draw
the winning ticket, otherwise we’ll draw the ticket. Attendees must be present
to win. If there is a physical prize we’ll give it to them, otherwise we’ll
forward you their contact information (for license keys, etc).
After
the event, you will be mailed all the raffle tickets from your box. There may
be duplicates; depending on the excitement generated by your prize, an attendee
may contribute more than one of their (limited) tickets to your box.
Event Logistics
We’ll open the doors to sponsors at 7:00 am. You
will be provided with a table, two chairs, and limited access to 110v power
(please let us know of anything else you may need in advance). Tables will be
located in the registration/breakfast area to make it easy for attendees to
stop by your table. We encourage sponsors to remain on site through at least
lunch and, if possible, to be present at day’s end to present your raffle prize.
Lunch
will be provided to registered sponsors. Please have each individual from your
team register at www.sqlsaturday.com so we may provide enough food for all. Contact Us
