Using Statistical Semantic Search

Speaker: Sam Nasr

Duration: 60 minutes

Track: Other

Statistical Semantic Search is a new feature introduced in SQL Server 2012, providing the ability to search documents for key phrases with statistical relevance. Although it builds on the feature of Full-Text search, it provides more capabilities than just term matching. It provides a score of relevance to each search. Statistical Semantic Search also introduces three new functions for querying relevance on key phrases, similarity of documents, and matching phrases in two documents
