Note that these will be paid events and note also that as we are a small not-for-profit association we are not GST registered and therefore do not issue Tax Receipts for these registrations.
We are working on securing some discounted hotel rooms for those of you from outside Melbourne.
Keep an eye out here or on the twitter feed (using #sqlsatMelbourne) for updates.
Public Transport to Monash University, Caulfield Campus
Free parking is limited around Caulfield Campus, so we encourage using public transport to get to the event.
By train and tram:
Caulfield Railway Station is adjacent to the campus. Four lines stop at the station: Cranbourne, Dandenong, Frankston and Pakenham.
No. 3 or 3a tram between Melbourne University and East Malvern will take you directly to the Caulfield campus.
Bus Route 624 -- Kew, Auburn Railway Station, Caulfield Railway Station, Chadstone Shopping Centre, Holmesglen Institute of TAFE, Oakleigh Railway Station.
Bus Route 900 -- Stud Park Shopping Centre, Waverley Park, Monash University Clayton campus, Huntingdale Station, Oakleigh Railway Station, Chadstone Shopping Centre, Monash University Caulfield campus, Caulfield Railway Station.
For those travelling to Melbourne for the event, you will need to purchase a Myki Card for use on all public transport. Details can be found on the PTV website.
In the SQL Server community, we like to have fun as well as learn more about the product. So, thanks to our generous sponsors, we will also be hosting an "after-party" at the Racecourse Hotel. If you'd like to come along for a post-event refreshment then make sure you check the box on your registration to "Attend post event social". We do ask however that you keep this option up to date with your plans. You can edit your registration by signing into your PASS profile on the event home page then clicking on "[view profile]".
