What is SQL Saturday? Why "BI" Edition?
SQLSaturday is an all day free training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. This particular event is being organized by the Tampa Bay Business Intelligence User Group (http://tampabaybi.sqlpass.org). Our goal is to host an event in which we can bring together the brightest speakers and professionals in the Business Intelligence field to enrich our community knowledge and foster networking opportunities.We are also having a paid BI BootCamp workshop the day before the event. Check below for details.
Who attends these type of events?
All types of professionals from many backgrounds attend. Typically database administrators, developers, project managers, business analysts, recruiters, and several others at experienced and beginner levels. You can check out who will be attending in our Networking section.
How much does it cost to attend?
Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of $5.00 so that we can provide a good lunch (not pizza!), as well as beverages, coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts throughout the day. Please register here soon as possible as seating is limited to 250 attendees. Please spread the word and let friends and colleages know about the event. Lunch will need to be paid prior to attending. If you are planning to bring your own lunch let us know after you register via email at sqlsaturday86@sqlsaturday.com
When? Saturday November 5th, 2011. Registration will open at 7:30am. Sessions will start at 9:00 am.
