The event is soon... What do you need to know?

  1. If you have not registered yet ensure to do so by going here.
  2. Parking for the event on Saturday (May 7) is free only if you park in Garage 38 (see map below). You are responsible for any parking violations you may receive.
  3. Registration begins at 8:00 AM with session starting at 9:00 AM.
  4. Your SpeedPASS, which can be downloaded by logging into your SQLPass profile and going to the mySQLSaturday section.

Welcome to SQLSaturday Jacksonville!

SQL Saturday is a training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. This event will be held May 7, 2016 at Jacksonville, FL. Admittance to this event is free, all costs are covered by donations and sponsorship. Please register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event.

Why: It is a great opportunity to learn from Microsoft MVPs, SQL Server authors, and professionals who have been through and can relate to the obstacles you have day to day. This one day training event is unlike any other providing free food, training and networking.

Pre-Conference Sessions

Precons will be held Friday, May 6th at the UNF campus. Cost for each session is $149 and lunch will be provided. Please see below for more information on individual sessions.  

A Day of DBA Fundamentals: Install, Maintenance Plans and Security

Presented By  Bradley Ball and Dan Taylor

This session will review installing SQL Server and it’s various services, post configuration, setting up maintenance plans, reviewing essential concepts surrounding what backups should be selected, and basic SQL Server and Active Directory Security.

Within all your data are patterns that can optimize nearly every business decision and Data Science is a key part in understanding these patterns. This Data Science seminar gives you an understanding of the data science process and methodologies using Azure ML.

SQLSaturday Jacksonville Kids Camp

Presented By Brian Knight

The students will get to create there own exciting games and robots while learning fundamental concepts or programming. Lunch will be included. The cost is $10 and holds your place but please email us if you wish to cancel. Parents will need to remain on campus at SQLSaturday while their kids are in the program.
