This is our 8th year of hosting SQLSaturday in Orange County.

SQLSaturday is a free 1-day training event for Microsoft SQL Server data professionals, providing a variety of high-quality technical sessions. This is a great opportunity to network with peers and learn from MVPs (Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals), local and international speakers. Enter the Sponsor raffles and you might win one of the great prizes. We even include a free lunch, no fooling! Please register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event. You must be registered to attend and sign up with PASS is free. This will be our 8th year hosting a SQLSaturday in Orange County and we expect to have over 400 attendees!
If a full day of free training isn't enough learning for you, we also offer a full day of incredibly inexpensive paid pre-conference all day workshops taught by some of the leading SQL Server experts in the world. This is a great opportunity to dive deep into a topic and learn from the best!

A full day of free training will be held on Saturday, April 1st at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA. We've done our best to provide a good mix of topics and skill levels, and we hope you'll find something of interest throughout the day. T-SQL For Performance and Accuracy ( Vern Rabe )
It seems like there’s always a query or a stored procedure that takes way too long to execute. Don’t be quick to blame it on a missing index, or out of date statistics, or insufficient memory. Often a slow performing query can be drastically improved with a rewrite. This preconference will teach you how to write T-SQL with two goals in mind: Getting the results you expect (accuracy), and quickly (performance). Mastering Power BI, Beyond the Basics ( Paul Turley )
In this Power BI hands-on Workshop, we will quickly review the essentials and learn some advanced techniques to transform, model and analyze business information with Power BI Desktop. Techniques and best practices presented are from several prior workshops and years of field experience. Learn to use self-service and enterprise-scale Power BI capabilities; gain valuable skills to integrate, wrangle, shape and visualize data for analysis.
