SQLSaturday Sacramento 2017 (SQLSaturday #650) - a full day of FREE SQL Server training!

How will the Sacramento SQL Server User Group squeeze 30 hours of free training into an 8-hour day? Page or columnstore compression? System-versioned temporal table technology and a time machine? Stretch database features and the cloud? Isn't the cloud just somebody else's server? OK, seriously, we're able to offer that much training by running five simultaneous tracks, and each of those tracks will be jam-packed with six sessions! Just look at this insane schedule from last year! You know it's going to be equally (if not more) ludicrous in 2017!

Speakers, have you heard the tales of how we held our speaker dinner in a sweat lodge disguised as a microbrewery last year? If you were there, you know you loved every minute of it. There's no telling what might happen this year; perhaps you'll consider submitting a session or two to speak again? Submit your sessions today!

Attendees, this event frequently attracts some great local speakers, as well as speakers from out of town, state and sometimes even other countries! We've had Microsoft Certified Masters of SQL Server and several SQL Server MVPs in our speaker lineup in prior years. It's sure to be another excellent speaker lineup this year with informative and entertaining sessions you don't want to miss. You'll find sessions on Business Intelligence, Database Development, Database Administration, the SQL Server Database Engine, Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) as well as other product areas and professional development. Register today!

Sponsors, we'd love to see you again this year! You make this event possible and our attendees love interacting with you between sessions and at lunch time!  Check out this sponsor plan!  We hope to see you there!

SQLSaturday Sacramento #650. Hey, isn't there a radio station in Sacramento at 650 on the AM dial? And isn't 650 one of the area codes for the San Francisco Bay Area? Well, our event has nothing to do with those things, but if you spend the day with us on July 15, it won't matter; there's a good chance that you'll have a great time and probably learn a thing or two along the way. This is a training event, but, we also like to have fun, and you'll be amazed at how friendly and willing to share their expert knowledge all of our speakers and team members are.

Whether you're looking to migrate completely to the cloud or create a hybrid environment of an on premise and cloud offering, this training is for you.

Dan Hess has been in IT since 1997, graduating from California State University, Chico with a computer science degree. He's been focused on SQL Server since 2007 when he was given the "accidental DBA" title. After learning to swim in the deep end and moving jobs to Sacramento, he saw the need to help others who were in a similar position and helped to form the Sacramento SQL Server user group. Database administration is his primary focus.
