SQLSaturday is a training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. Admittance to this event is free, all costs are covered by donations and sponsorships. Please register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event.

Come and spend a day with Rob Sewell MVP and learn how to make your life administering and reporting on your SQL Server estate much easier using PowerShell. We will cover PowerShell basics, using dbatools to perform tasks and dbachecks to validate your environment

Database DevOps - a (very) Crash course 

Learn how to accomplish Database DevOps in a Day! In this packed workshop you’ll get an introduction to the what and the why of DevOps, followed by some discussion about the pros and cons of the various ways to automate your deployments. Over the course of the day you’ll create your own database deployment pipeline using ReadyRoll, Git and TFS/VSTS.

Car Parking

On Friday there is no car parking available on the venue's designated parking site. NCP Chester Street, Manchester is the nearest car park with others available in the area.

On Saturday free car parking is available on the John Dalton car park, accessed from Chester Street, which is on the other side of the Mancunian Way (A57(M)) from the venue. From the car park walk underneath the Mancunian Way, turn right and go through the revolving doors into the Business School.
