Welcome to Stockholm!
SQL Saturday Stockholm 2019 is the inaugural instalment of SQL Saturday in Stockholm, and we're very happy to welcome you to our beautiful city in May! The schedule has been published, and we are lucky to have an outstanding lineup of world-class speakers and sessions.
Getting to Stockholm
If you're flying into Stockholm, you'll be landing at one of three airports;
- Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN) is the main international airport served by a range of international and domestic airlines, connected by express train (20 minutes, SEK 300), airport bus (50 minutes, SEK 100), taxi/Uber (45 minutes, about 500-600 SEK), as well as public transport (40 minutes).
If you take a taxi, make sure you get a fixed fare!
- Stockholm-Bromma (BMA) is the city airport which connects mostly to domestic destinations and is accessible by airport bus (20 minutes, 75 SEK), public transport (a bit cumbersome) or taxi/Uber (20 minutes, SEK 200).
- Nyköping-Skavsta (NYO) is not technically Stockholm, but serves low-cost airlines like Ryanair. It has frequent scheduled airport buses (90 minutes off-peak, 140 SEK).
Stockholm is very walkable. The pre-con and conference venues are about 5-10 walking minutes from Stureplan/Östermalmstorg, or 25 minutes from the central station, right next to Stadion.

We have no less than two amazing pre-conference sessions this year. They are full-day seminars on May 3rd, the day before the conference, led by world-renowned speakers on SQL Server. Make sure to snag that early-bird pricing while available!
