SQL Saturday Auckland is a FREE day conference running by the community for the community. Last year, we over 200 people attending the event, the event was fully booked even five weeks before the date of the event. Last year we had 20 speakers from Microsoft employees, Microsoft Regional Directors, Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, and other industry experts, some local speakers and some from other countries such as the USA, Europe, Australia, and Asia. This year, we are aiming for a bigger event. The registration is free, however, there are limited seats, make sure you register before it's too late.
Although the name of the event is SQL Saturday, the event has all things about Microsoft Data and AI related technologies in it. Here are some of the topics that will be covered:
- Power BI
- SQL Server, Database Dev, DBA
- Azure Data Analysis
Attending the event is free of charge, however, if you want the organizers to prepare lunch for you, there is a small lunch fee charge. If you prefer to bring your lunch, then you can register for free. The free event is happening on the 10th of August.
We do also have a paid pre-conference day happening on the 9th of August. The pre-con day is a full-day workshop deep dive on a specific area. For this year,
