Azure Databricks is the hottest big data service on Azure. Customers are surprised at how easy it is to start building big data applications.  Databricks provides a rich user interface and set of services running on top of Apache Spark, the world’s most popular big data platform.

In this workshop, you'll learn what Azure Databricks is, its key features, and how to do data wrangling at scale with SQL, R, Python, and Scala. You will also learn about Databricks job scheduling, dashboards, and security.  Since Databricks is built on Spark, you will learn how Spark works and how to leverage Databricks to get the most out it.

This is hands-on so bring your laptop and be prepared to be amazed! Since most attendees have some SQL background, we'll give particular attention to leveraging SQL on Databricks!
